Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. In the Edge, replacing the temperature sensor can indeed be tricky, as it's typically placed under the intake manifold, making it hard to access. Some owners and mechanics have managed to reach it from the passenger side with flexible tools, but it's often limited to specific tools and angles. Given the tight space, removing the manifold covers is the most reliable approach to ensure proper access and sensor installation. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
