What is your question?
I was told that I have to replace the entire drive shaft however its only the center bearing that is bad so I wanted to know if the entire thing needs replaced or just the bearing?
What makes this problem better or worse?
nothing really it happens around 20mph and stops at 25 mph
How long has your 2008 Ford Edge had this problem?
few weeks

Hello, Typically only the bearing has to be replaced, but if there is damage to the mating surface on the driveshaft that interacts with the carrier bearing, the new bearing will not last very long at all.. If the driveshaft is not separately defective and the mating surface for the carrier bearing fits properly (proper clearance), then there is no reason to replace the driveshafts.
