Can I put a 2 piece driveshaft instead of a 3 piece driveshaft in my 2008 Ford Edge

The three piece driveshaft is almost $200 more and I do not have that I wanted to see if I can put a two piece driveshaft in my 2008 Ford edge Limited all-wheel-drive instead of the three piece what would make the difference
