What is your question?
After the engine warms up. I notice a hot smelling odor but only when I slow down or stop. I noticed some white/grey smoke coming from under the hood. No warning lights on the dash. Not overheating. Seems to be driving normal besides the smell and smoke.

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Edge. The hot smell and smoke you're noticing could be caused by a few things. One common issue is oil leaking onto hot engine parts, creating smoke and a burning odor. It could also be coolant leaking, particularly if you have a small coolant leak near the engine or radiator. Since there are no warning lights and the engine isn't overheating, it's worth checking for any visible leaks or signs of burning oil or coolant. Another possible source of the abnormal odor and smoke is a failure in the braking system, such as a faulty caliper or contaminated brake pads. If the issue persists, it may be best to have a mechanic inspect the vehicle to identify the source of the smoke and odor. Ignoring it could lead to more significant issues down the line.
