AC issue -blows air great but usually after driving a bit will stop blowing cold

Does the air still blow out of the vents? If so, I would check your coolant level and check for leaks. If it only quits blowing while you are at a stop light, then check your cooling fans. It may be a pressure switch that most times is located on the drier.
