My 2000 ford 350 work van broke a serpentine belt and over heated after i fixed the belt the van wont start I have a lot of codes ,PO 305- PO 306-,PO 308- PO 353- PO 356 I don't know if over heating cased the coils to go bad but when I tested the wires leading to the coils they both had positive current I assume one wire should be pos and on neg I was trying to check for spark and didn't get any so i checked the power to the coils some have power on both wires and some have power on only one wire What make me confused is I started it after it cooled down to move it for the tow truck and it started no problem but after that it just cranks with no start the battery did die so i'm jumping it to get it to turn over Thank you for any help
RESETTING THE FUEL PUMP SHUT-OFF SWITCH The fuel pump shut-off switch is a device intended to stop the electric fuel pump when your vehicle has been involved in a substantial jolt. After a collision, if the engine cranks but does not start, the fuel pump shut-off switch may have been activated. The fuel pump shut-off switch is located in the passenger’s foot well, behind the kick panel, except for commercial stripped chassis vehicles. ⭐️ This information was obtained from the OWNERS MANUAL > pages 127 - 128 ⭐️ There are diagrams there as well. Any abrupt jar of the vehicle will trigger the inertia switch - even hitting a pot hole OR towing is also a good way to trip this switch. GOOD LUCK!
