Why is Ford engineers hiding behind a recall issue on the 2011 ford f250?

What is your question?

Paid 56k for a new king ranch. It leaks around the oil pan. New plug installed last month, just bought the only available new pan myself under warranty, because 30 on recall at one location in Dallas Ft Worth parts manager tells me. This is a new F 250 Ford Diesal leak at the oil pan and now 30 on back order? Hello Engineers I think you have two problems. No 3 problems. First, the oil leak, second, the 3 clerks at customer service blaming me like I hit something, and third the same oil pan part number is gonna do the same thing. Why else is their 30 on back order? You have not done your jobs, on the 6.7 new Ford diseal trucks. Buyers Beware!!! Ford has a corrupt Service department also that likes to overfill new trucks to have work in the shop to make Ford warranties a reality for their pocketbooks. I know I watched it be done to one of my past diseal trucks which cost Ford 3500.00 to fix under warranty and nearly again in another overfill at another dealership. Buyers beware!!!

engineers do not hide from anything. once it is out there and they find a problem, they make corrections and send out the fix, when a lot of people come in for the fix, they run out quickly. they will catch up and correct the issue. just bear with them till your pan comes in. as far as the overfill, that is a tech issue not a dealer issue. they need to be trained about procedures like that. Well they got one more chance after this one to fix it or I am taking Ford to the administrative judge in mediation to give me my 56k back. Its been in 3 times and the lemon law in Texas stated 4 times and the dealer is out, either they give me a new one or they have to buy it back, depends on the mediators binding decision. I have logged and photograph everything and watch even the entire procedures to the side of my truck.. They didn't even add oil when the replaced the drain pluy a few weeks ago and now its a quart low. I don't think the same oil pan I purchased because they say there 30 on back order and hard to get. I am taking it in in the am, filming the whole thing for my attorney so he can start the lawsuit procedures with an mutual agreed upon arbitrator. I don't like Ford, same problem as before and from what I can see and know its the employees that damaged your cars in order to get the warranty work. I know it happened and I went to my orginal dealer when the idiot put near 18 quarts in my truck and it started leaking in my new garage. Now this piece of junk is leaking and its brand new with less than 45, hundred miles on it. The customer service representive stated I could of hit somethine which caused this problem. Probably a blonde with no brains would say that. Anyways, camera in hand for my lawyer so he can defend me in court in the next few months after he files a lawsuit on 'Ford". The same exact pan I bought myself to obtain it since so many trucks in the 2011 F 250 leak oil. For is less than par with service and I have had 17 to 18 quarts put in a 15 quart maximum twice now by two different dealers. Ford take a deep breath I am suing for suffering through this ordeal and I plan to seek damages along with my suit against your company. You dont put a plastic drain pan on a 60k king ranch ford and expect us not to find you.

I understand your frustration but you dont need the lawyer stuff. lemon law will preside by itself and will get either a new one or a buy out. if you hate fords so much, maybe a dodge or chevy may be your answer. i know if i was working on your truck, i would never permit it to be filmed. did you try another dealer?? thanks Roy for the insight on the pan issue. I got it put on this morning the dealer was very receptive to me standing to the side with the technician and he too was very nice to me. I give a thumbs up on the service finally with the 4th time in for the leak. I got a refund on the pan I bought last week for the 92.10 or so. I took photos this evening under the truck and hopefully the little smudge is residue left on it from above, although he did clean it with cleaning solutions. So for so good, but still I was out driving 200 miles and 4 times back and forth to the dealer for Ford's problem. The cost and replacing the oil was about 350 to 400.00 back to Ford I saw. I purchased two oil filters and will change the oil myself next time around so I don't have to be near it when they work on it, because of course I want be there nor will my truck.
