Vehicle will not go into gear

Hello, This is likely an issue with the brake light switch, shift-interlock solenoid, or associated circuits. Check the number of wires going to the brake light switch, check if the brake lights work, and listen for a click near the shifter when you press the brake. Since the E-250 has a column shifter, there should be a shift interlock bypass button on the column, but it will be hidden under a small, removable cap which will be blended into the steering column cover. Check your fuses (interior). I the fuse is bad, that would replicate your issue. By removing the steering column cover, you can test for power at the solenoid as well.
