We had an engine miss with jerks and thumps. We replaced timing chain, distributor, plugs, wires, water pump. We did not replace the coil. It is worse upon acceleration however the miss is there when it is idling. Also upon a load, the engine roars with a major lose of power and you have to leave off gas the transmission will slip. We had more power before the timing chain was replaced. Also the engine is ticking and started ticking before we replaced the chain.
