What is your question?
2000 ford e150.......gas smell at exhaust when 1st starting is the worst and then dissipates after it’s been running. Is this a charcoal canister issue? I do tend to “top off” but in reality my ocd just wants an even number. Lol! Plus I have a ticking coming from my steering wheel. It’s def not coming from the engine. When I turn on the car and start turning is when the ticking happens. Are both of these fairly easy fixes? I have some working knowledge on how to fix things myself......radiator, belt, oil change, spark plugs, coils, fuel filter, plus some other easy stuff. My van starts just fine, runs well. My gas mileage sucks but that could just be the weight of my van. She’s pretty loaded. My engine seems to have a tough time with hills but then again that could be the weight. 🤷🏻♀️ There’s also a whining noise coming from behind the dash. Not like a whining from a belt. It comes & it goes. It almost sounds like a wire is off from the radio but the radio isn’t on, make sense?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse when engine is cold
How long has your 2003 Ford E-150 had this problem?
