The truck will start if you spray starting fluid in the throat of the carburetor but it won't start regularly change fuel filter

Failing fuel pump is suspected .. Fuel pressure test required to confirm! .. Seen it a few times > Low pump pressure won't prime to start but 'will' run engine after manual prime > TEST the fuel pressure first!
