Why does my steering wheel and gas pedal make a cracking noise when turning

This will require the ‘trained ear’ of an experienced mechanic to decipher what you’re hearing exactly during a test drive. I can’t imagine the relationship between the steering wheel and gas pedal for this most unusual concern. Good luck!
