My 2006 crown Vic won't start or crank lights working what is the problem ?

Hello, if you are saying your steering wheel will not lock, I wonder about the shift lever being in the proper position. This would mean that "Park" and "Neutral" gear positions may be off. If this is the case, you will not be able to crank over the vehicle. Have this checked first.

IF the key can be removed shifter must be in PARK position ... IF key can not be removed - shift transmission to neutral and try cranking engine.. IF engine starts ok - then you’ll know what is needed for the drive to auto repair facility. Good luck!
