RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 2005 Ford Crown Victoria. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
Yes it works . The blend door is fine I have the dash pulled back and I can work it by hand while car is running and works great manually .I bought a new actuator thinking that was my problem and that didon't fix it . So I went and got a used control and that didn't fix it . What else could it be . Checked all fuses . I do have a12v power on 1 wire at actuator plug . Please help me .
ONLY true help would be in the form of an actual wiring diagram and circuit description!! Unfortunately , I'm a Honda guy (for work at least)... your best bet if you have the tools to test it , would be to either find and grovel with a tech at your local ford dealer for a copy of the circuit(s) and 'pin tests' for the controls. OR OR OR---- IF (BIG if!) the harness is accessible test all same colored wires at each end of harness that go from controller assembly to actuator for continuity and/or signal ?? DO you have a helper with you(or available)? Try testing the actuator connector for voltage/ground signal when operated?? If it is 2 wire , then it should just change polarity. ...hope some of this helps and maybe makes a little sense! good luck.
Thanks buddy I did find a wiring diagram and I did test cotinuity and voltage and I'm thinking I have came up w a uses bad control . And the plug has 7 wires . Thanks for your time . It should be simple because it's not electronic it's manual knob .
I said that wrong it's not cable it's electronic but not the push button climate control with its on separate computer.I read a thread saying it could only be the door broke or stuck . The actuator or the control and I have pretty much done all that and still no response I hope I have got a bad control I'll know tomorrow . I'll let u know . These cars are getting tougher and tougher

Good deal! WOW cable -- I'm spoiled at the dealer!! we haven't had to deal with cable controls for years! Good luck.
