It was built as an engine that could be modified to have a changeable cubic engine displacement,either a 351 or a 400 cubic in.By using a different crankshaft with a longer stroke,but used a big block engine for both sizes.It was called a 351m-400,on the lable on the valve cover,and was a 400.The 351cid was labled 351 m The 351 Cleavland was built in Cleavland ,Ohio.It was the high performance version in its day.
