Hello, They may or may not be related, but the engine stalling will likely need professional diagnosis. Stalling can be due to many issues, and the heater can fail in several ways, so I need more information to help you out. Do you notice anything odd before the engine stalls, or does it shut off like you turned if off with the key? Does the heater blow air, but cold air, is there power to the heater controls, and have you checked the engine coolant level? Does the engine temperature gauge read halfway between hot and cold? Hotter or cooler? Is the check engine light on as you drive? Have you scanned for trouble codes?
