1996 ford aspire: is it okay to replace its EGR with one w/out a boost sensor?

the EGR valve on this 1996 aspire has a sensor sitting on top of it and is connected to a solenoid assembly consisting of control solenoid, vent solenoid and a boost sensor. The valve closes and opens but relaxes after 5 minutes of applying vacuum. I found a 1995 ford aspire egr valve that has a sensor and two solenoids connected to it a control and a vent solenoids but no boost sensor. Are they interchangeable?
