timing belt loosen to remove water pump

You may need to remove the upper timing belt cover then loosen the timing belt tensioner. Beware that you will have to make sure the crankshaft and camshaft don't get out of time when you loosen the timing belt, or make sure they are aligned properly when you re-install the timing belt. The tension needs to be correct as well.

you have to remove the outer cassing and pullies that are holding the cassing on a strap wrench is required for this then once you get all that off you will see the two pulolies the belt and the tensioner losen the bolt on the tensioner and push it to the side then carefully remove the timing belt and your ready to go...
