'94 Aerostar rear door latch stuck with door closed, key still operates the lock

I didn't see it happen. Door lock still moves up and down with key or electric button..., but door is solidly locked shut. Outside lift handle does not move much, so still seems to be attached. Where should i cut a hole in panel to gain access since removal seems unlikely without ripping everything to pieces.
