need to know how it works out side driver side door triger wont open

The inside and outside door opening operation is a simple switch at both handles close a curcit to the controler that sends a signal to the door lock solinod to trigger the lock to release. if the outside switch does not complete the curcit when pushed the it should be the switch, if it does conplete the curcit then it could be a connection or the controled. the controled is disabled for outside switch operation when the vehicle is locked or the alarm is set.
