Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. If the only repair made was to replace an oil pan, or gasket - then there should be no direct effect to engine performance. Not knowing the exact work that was done and why - it's impossible to know what's going on and what could have happened.
