I have an oil leak in my 2005 dodge stratus what's wrong with it

If this car is a front wheel drive then its most likely leaking from the oil pressure sending unit. Some signs that this is the problem area include but are not limited to: -Excessive oil consumption but very little or even no oil puddle under the car. -Burning oil smell most often noticed after coming to a stop. -While coming to a stop the oil light on the instrument cluster flashes and or lights up briefly. Depending on your engine the oil pressure sending unit will be located: -2.5L and 3.0L V6 engine the unit is located on the oil filter housing which is in the front of the engine. (I think) -2.0L, 2.4L and 2.7L V6 it will be at the left end on the rear side of the block. You may have to remove a heat shield to gain access. If this is where its leaking then replace the unit with a new one. Hope this helps :)
