When I first Start the Car,the Fan Usually Works,...until the engine gets "hot" ,then it either fails,or if I turn Off the Heater, the Fan STOPS working altogether........I tried replacing the Motor Resister, and that did NOT fix the problem. You think I might have to replace the whole heating module in the Dash,or something else?

I have a 2004 2004 dodge stratus that is having the same issue Blower works when it wants, It wont work for a day then works for 6 months flawless but then wont work again, I about bought a blower for it but that sounds like it would be a waist of money? Anyone heard any more on what the issue might be? I see where a 2002 Dodge pickup has the same issue and it was a flaw in the wiring where they had heated air being put on a plug and the connection would shrink and break... Wonder if that is the same here? Thanks for any info
Yes ,I did find a resolution from the mechanic, and he put in a New Blower Motor. That has fixed the problem. I don't think he had to do anything else,it was just the Blower Motor, although in some cases, the blower resister can be replaced too. Here is the link to Youtube video to replace the Blower Motor,if you want to do it yourself....(but if you know a good mechanic,it might pay to have him do it) http://youtu.be/EyfVY7IhpGQ?list=PLYb3FGonfnRqKg45CBTVV8C429t3CS4MS Good Luck (you can also find a Video how to replace the Resister too)
Thanks for the info :) Ill replace mine also
Checked that, and there is no power going to the blower motor, even a new one......Took it to my mechanic, and he is testing the whole electric system....Apparently i have a very unusual electrical problem, with the car
if you have owners manual check if you have a fan relay cant remember if that model has one
I will ask the mechanic about the relay.....but he is insistenting that it has to do with the electrical wiring somehow.....Sure hope he knows what he is doing........
good luck
