When driving i hear a loud grind/screeching noise as i turn sounds like a strut

Hello, First, check your power steering fluid, just in case you are hearing the power steering pump screeching. Next, check that the vehicle makes the noise most when turning left or right, while braking or not braking and turning either direction, and if accelerating in a turn in either direction.
