The car shifts a little hard from 35 mph on and when i let off the gas the car stays revved up at 2. Usually it will drop to one or 1 and a half. Also sometimes i will give it gas and the car goes but once it should shift it doesn't and just keeps revving. I know its a problem and i have a power train warranty. They told me to send the car in but if the problem is not under warranty they could charge me up to $90 to diagnose the problem. Does this sound like a transmission issue and will this be covered under a power train warranty?

Make sure the transmission fluid is at the proper level before bringing the car in for service, but if the fluid level is fine and its still shifting out of sequence then it should be covered under your power train warrenty.
