What is your question?
I am taking my car in tomorrow for an oil change and to have the transmission checked. When i start the car it revs up to 2 and stays there until the car is completely warmed up. When i go to stop it acts like it still wants to keep going and revs higher. Should i get this checked out or is it just because my engine is cold?

It depends how long your car does this. If it does it for about 30 seconds, then that is generally ok. If it does it for 5 minutes or longer and during these warmer summer months, then that is a problem and really is not safe, meaning you could run some one over. I would get this checked out by a shop. There is something wrong, most likely an Idle Air Control Motor system. You should have your Power Train Computer scanned and the situation resolved by a good quality independent shop. Good Luck! If your car is 'creeping and you have to step extra hard on the brake, then this is not good. I thought that is what you had mentioned. Any car will rev up as it down shifts. 2000 is a bit high though if it is an automatic. But IF it 'creeps' after it is warm and IF you have to really apply the brake, then this is not normal. Good Luck!
Its not that bad that the car will keep going it just revs up to like 2 rpms and drops down every time i slow down and it shifts down
