With out sensor input you will get no spark. Best to test sensor with an oscilloscope The tan/yellow wire is the sensor out put wire, a crude test would be to look for an a/c voltage signal at that wire as a friend cranks over the engine, orange/white wire is power to the sensor, other wire is ground.
