What is your question?
I just had my 2006 D2500 not start this evening. Upon looking it over I noticed the clutch switch appeared to be coming apart. I activated the switch by hand and my truck started right up! How involved is it to change this safety switch on the clutch?

Disconnect the clutch pedal position switch connector. Disconnect the clutch actuation rod from the clutch pedal. Remove the clutch master cylinder from the toe box. Remove the white clutch pedal position switch retaining clip. Push the switch up the rod slightly. Then pull the bottom the switch outward. INSTALLATION: To Install new switch, Be sure that the spring loaded plunger inside the switch is slightly compressed. The plunger inside the switch must go on the narrow section of the clutch master cylinder actuation rod. Place the top of the switch against the rod. Then push the switch up slightly. This will compress the plunger. Then push the bottom of the switch against the rod. Failure to install the switch as described or forcing the switch onto the rod will crack the switch. Install new white plastic retaining clip. Install the clutch master cylinder back into the vehicle. Reconnect the clutch switch connector. Check clutch position switch operation. 5. Push the switch up (1) the rod (2) slightly. Then pull the bottom of the switch outward.
Thank you for your help, Sir!
