Should I replace the stock fuel pump and injector pump on my 2002 diesel

Thanks, did you replace just the lift pump? My truck is a 2002 and I only have approx. 54000 miles on it. Can you replace torque convertor before you have issues, or do you wait until you have issues and then have it rebuilt?

The lift pump is more a the main issue, sometimes the injector pump is changed when it is to late. Also use the additive for they were built before the fuel change. The torque convertor buttons for bolting to the flywheel are prone to fail, Jasper has reworked the design in theirs to eliminate those issues. Do your maintenance and it might prolong the life of the transmission.

What additive do you add?? Never heard of this. Some Lucas additive or what. Have already changed fluid and filter in tranny and have use Lucas additive in it. Do not like using additives but have had good luck with Lucas additives in noisy Jeep, low oil pressure etc. Will replace lift pump with better pump. Thanks
