I'm installing H.I.D. headlights and the wiring is giving me 12v on all (3) wires going into the headlamps. There is a red wire, purple w/ white, and all purple. Now the purp. w/ white is the high beam and the red wire is a low beam but everything shows power untill I hit the high beam switch then the red and purp. w/ white alternate. Now when I plug up the H.I.D. kit the red wire drops in voltage. I simple fix that problem with a relay but then the red wire stays on constant. I would like to know which wire to use for my low beam headlamps....

Recheck all of your wiring. Follow instructions that came with your kit. the 16VT/WT LOW BEAM OUTPUT and 16RD/OR HIGH BEAM OUTPUT.
