I replaced the ignition coil an the spark plug wires but not the spark plugs, prier to that. I had a radiator over heating

Knocking noise is not something that typically could be caused by spark plugs, coil, or wires. It sounds like a noise from parts that should be internally lubricated. Hands on testing by professionals is needed. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops/dodge-repair-and-service-in-chinle-arizona
All 3 engine options have had problematic valve train issues. 3.7L and 4.7L exhaust valve seat becoming dislodged after engine overheating. 5.7L valve return spring breakage.
The result > valve train noise - misfire - check engine light.
