My service engine light comes on after I start my truck.

I went to auto zone a plugged my truck up to the computer and it said my #4 spark plug has a missfire. I then changed my spark plugs and I also changed the boot in the spark plug that had the missfire but the light turn off for a couple of days and it then came back on again. I also asked a mechanic friend and he told me to p ut some of that cheveron fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank because he believed that the fuel injector was trying to clog up. that worked for a while then it came back on again. What can i do to fix this problem.

Reading your question, you have addressed the ignition side of things that could cause a "misfire code". The other two things are as your friend said an injector that is going bad or is not being "triggered" to turn on by the computer, after that you could have a vacuum leak at that intake runner of low compression in that cylinder but your friends input that an injector may be the problem is most likely.
