I have to disconnect my alternator and battery for truck to turn off

I’ve checked the ignition switch and all but it wasn’t that my truck turns on when I connect the battery and alternator back but when I turn it off it doesn’t turn off it stays on and I have to disconnect the battery and alternator for it to turn off
What makes this problem better or worse?
Only disconnecting the alternator turns my tru k off
