What is your question?
The starter cranks but will not start. If I spray fuel into the intake it will run. If i leave it sit for awhile it will start right up. And run great. I can hear the fuel pump so I dint think it's that I have checked the fuses. The wireless door locks work so I don't think it is the security system. If it din't run at all I would think it would be the fuel pump but it will run some times. If it sets over night it would start. I can drive it all day shut it off and it would fire right up if I leave it for about 1 hr it will not start. Got to be something simple.

If you spray fuel into the intake you definately have a fuel problem, You may not have a check engine light but you definetly will have a pending check engine light, There are 2 sensor that are capable of causing your hard start up, One is the crank position sensor it is used along side with the cam position sensor, these are used by the PCM to synchronize ignition and injection timing, If either one is out of range you wont start up. The location for the CKP is mounted into the side rear of engine block, The CMP is located passenger side cylinder head, exhaust side near front
dose it start if you hit bottom of tank with hammer when its cold????? if so bad or weak pump or messed up sock...
Well I did the hammer trick and nother happend just cranked and cranked. I think I might go ahead and just change the cam sensor. It just seems to be pionting to either the cam sensor or the crank sensor and since the cam sensor is at the front of the engine it looks like the best place to start. Well I have now replaced both sensors and still no start. Now what, The computer?
Cycle the key and listen for a fuel pump noise it should humm,if you dont hear it let me know,
Ok i don't here a hummm when turning key , so woukd that be my fuel pump, i have a 1996
I just went through this . It's your fuel pump not getting power. It's the tipm. Under your hood, open fuse box, jump m25 fuse which is fuel pump and attach wire to positive side and jump over to m7 . That is spare ignition fuse. By jumping these 2, it gives your fuel pump power again. Go onto verticalvisions.com this video shows how. It saved me $1,000.
