I had to lock up my brakes at 75mph. About 15 miles later when I got home, the left rear brakes were still locked and smoking REALLY bad. i drove it in reverse to try and unlock it-didn't work. Any suggestions?

From you description, it sounds like some component inside the brake assembly has broken. Since the brakes were smoking really bad, you should replace the brake lining and brake shoe retainers and springs anyway, due to heat damage, Also check your brake drum for "hot spots" and have them removed o a brake lathe with a grinding attachment. This is the only way to remove hot spots which will cause the brakes to grab and shutter if not removed.
Hey thanks for the help, but I have disc brakes on the back. I was thinking about changing the caliper, pads, and rotor. I don't have a lot of money right now though for it not to work after replacing all those. Any more advice?
i own a 07 quadcab with 84000 miles, have had to replace the rear tires about 5 times already, dodge said there was no problem with the truck ,but about 3 months ago, my brakes locked up while turn off the highway. the right rear brake had locked down and would not release. when i checked the air pressure it was 75 pounds only in the right rear tire. i took it back in and they again said that there was no problem with the 1500 series, but they did recall all 2500 and up series for the same problem. it cost me about 200 dollars to have it fixed. good luck
