What is your question?
not having the instructions i messed up when i installed a new gauge cluster backing cover. this replaces the factory white gauges with a new chrome backing cover. i removed all the gauge needles, installed the cover and not knowing the position of the needles i installed all of the needles at zero/bottom of the gauges. now the RPM, Fuel, Alt, Temp etc. are all incorrect readings. is there any way of resetting the gauges or re positioning the needles correctly now that i screwed everything up?

With key ON and engine COLD, not started overnight, Remove needles and reposition at 0 for >temperature.. RPM & Oil pressure. For voltage set to 12 volts.. For fuel, try to remember how much it had before you worked on it OR fill tank and set to full.... That's all I know to do as there is NO RESET proceedure to follow that I'm aware of!.... There is no way it can know the needles have been changed!!
I've never seen a reset procedure. Try reinstalling the cluster's needles
that's what i am wanting to do, but i do not know what orientation to position them. i was hoping that there would be a way of resetting all the gauges to Zero (all the way to one side) and then install the needles pointing to Zero
thank you for the reply, looks like the best advice so far. thanks Signed Dumb Ass (I am the dumb ass. lol.)
