engine overheated now getting water coming out of driver side exhaust manifold

Yes it is putting water out the exhaust, And water comes to quick " boil" , I just had it running for about five minutes After filling the system with water To look for hose leaks, Or water in the oil. Water was coming out of the exhaust In back of the truck, When I shut the truck off It made a boiling noise And spit water out of the overflow tube.

Well it's most likely a head/gasket issue, might as well send it to the shop, keep in mind this is an overhead cam engine, it's going to be rather expensive to repair.... Sorry!
