What is your question?
Heater will not warm up or change from floor to vent or defrost and ac will not come on . Everything is new , water pump , thermostat , heat / ac controls . No blown fuses . There is no fuse marked heater , just heated seats or heated mirrors . Could it be a relay ? Or is it electrical. Please help , it's getting cold outside ....

Must be diagnosed for an electrical problem. Possibly an actuator.
You must have a 2003 as 2002 did not offer a 4.7L engine. There is also a Technical Service Bulletin addressing this issue for a 2003 DR Ram Truck. TSB NUMBER: 24-004-03; GROUP: Heating & A/C; DATE: June 13, 2003 This bulletin is supplied as technical information only and is not an authorization for repair. SUBJECT: Defrost Door Inoperative This bulletin involves replacing the defrost door and lower half of the heater, A/C (HVAC) housing. MODELS: 2003 (DR) Ram Truck SYMPTOM/CONDITION: The defrost door may break at the pivot shaft causing inadequate travel. The system may not completely close causing a lack of air discharge out the floor vents and full discharge from the defrost outlet. This may be caused by a broken actuator stop on the heater A/C (HVAC) housing. I recommend you visit your local dealership for more inspection, diagnosis and repair.
Dear Sir. I do have a 2002 and not a 2003 . It does have a 4.7 V-8 . And my problem is that all of the air is coming out in the floor and not anywhere else. It will not warm up at all . And my ac will not come on at all . These are all controlled together and the only thing that works is the blower and it only blows in the floor. Like I said in my first question , everything is new and I cant figure out what to do next . There are no fuses marked (heater), only heated mirrors and heated seats and I dont have either !!!
Did you every find out what the problem was?? Mines doing the exact same thing and it freezing were iam at, any help would be much appreciated!! Thanks
That’s hilarious! I too have a 2002 Dodge quad cab WITH....wait for it.....a 4.7 V8. It says it right under the hood. And all the original paperwork. I actually bought it brand new from a dodge dealership, in...drum roll please....... 2002. So yes, they did make the 2002 dodge with a 4.7 V8. I know, because I own one. A lot of people own one. With a name like Johnny mopar, this is information you’re supposed to know. Now, I’m having the same issue. Anyways...
