P1494, WITH A REAL SCANNER SEE IF EVAP. TEST CAN BE RUN. IF NOT COULD BE POOR CONNECTION AT PUMP THAT CHECKS EVAP. STSTEM. MAY NEED A MECHANIC TO DO THIS TEST. ( SMELL GAS?)

you need to fix it...otherwise it will always come back on...check for fuel cap seal...then have a shop perform a evap test to find out where it is leaking
