What is your question?
There is no codes. pulled out of driveway..fine but when it should of shifted did not (automatic trans.) rpms kept going up at around 3000rpm's I left off gas and then it shifted on it's own. If going up an incline or hill this method doesn't work. it's either in low gear or rpms are racing. took to transmission guy he said 2 nd gear is out. Could there be another problem? seems to me everyone is replacing transmissions in these things not just 1 time but some as many as 3 or more. don't want to spend money if this is just gonna happen again and again and again......

First things first, check your transmission fluid level. FLUID LEVEL CHECK PROCEDURE 1.Transmission fluid must be at normal operating temperature for accurate fluid level check. Drive vehicle if necessary to bring fluid temperature up to normal hot operating temperature of 82°C (180°F) 2.Position vehicle on level surface. 3.Start and run engine at curb idle speed. 4.Apply parking brakes. 5.Shift transmission momentarily into all gear ranges. Then shift transmission back to Neutral. 6.Clean top of filler tube and dipstick to keep dirt from entering tube. 7.Remove dipstick and check fluid level as follows: a.Correct acceptable level is in crosshatch area. b.Correct maximum level is to MAX arrow mark. c.Incorrect level is at or below MIN line. d.If fluid is low, add only enough Mopar® ATF Plus 4 to restore correct level. Do not overfill. A misadjusted TRANSMISSION THROTTLE VALVE CABLE can also cause shifting issues. Transmission throttle valve cable (Throttle Valve Cable Attachment - At Engine) adjustment is extremely important to proper operation. This adjustment positions the throttle valve, which controls shift speed, quality, and part-throttle downshift sensitivity. If cable setting is too loose, early shifts and slippage between shifts may occur. If the setting is too tight, shifts may be delayed and part throttle downshifts may be very sensitive. . Take the vehicle to your local dealership or repair shop. Get more than one opinion in necessary. One possibility is your electronic governor is sticking or malfunctioning. Replacing the transmission is a last resort
Thanks. I did already check fluid but I will have someone check the Throttle valve cable adjustment. I appreciate your help.
