What is your question?
My truck stopped on the highway yesterday, was towed to my home and I was told that the problem may be the fuel pump.

oh yes,it's got one.it is in the fuel tank under the truck.there are a couple different ones for your truck.it depends on what gallon tank you have and if it's a 1 port tube or a 2 port tube.the whole unit is around $250.00.the best way to replace it is to remove the bed off the truck, and the pump is right there mounted in top of fuel tank.now, there that is,BUT you need to MAKE SURE that is what is wrong.what is going on with your truck?have you tried to start it since?does it have gas in it,for sure?
Yes the truck does have gas in it and it did start once it was towed home. I was concerned about the cost to replace the fuel pump, I will probably take it to a repair shop so they can check it out and give me an estimate for repairsThank you for your reply
you or someone that can check for fuel pressure and spark could do these checks.if you take it in to a repair shop,it's gonna be way more than the price of the fuel pump,if that's what is wrong!that price i gave you was if you bought it and did the work yourself.good luck.
