What could be wrong with AC

Thanks for your reply. Mechanics said they used the uv dye. Guess I'll take it back tomorrow and ask them to check again. If it's not a leak, any other thoughts?

when the clutch cycles on,off,on,off,on,off.90% of the time,the freon is low.the other thing is the cycle switch is bad.good luck with it.

Return visit to shop, mechanic confirms there is a leak - inside. Must remove dashboard and replace cooling unit/coil. Recommends replacing heater coil as well. $800. Ouch. Got another estimate, $475. Somewhat better. Thanks again.
