can someone tell me how long does it take for the compter to reset its telling me that the 02heater and just the 02 sen. is not complete and the truck wont pass state insp. untill they read complete

If you have an active code, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) will not clear it until the cause has been repaired. There are quite a few Diagnostic codes pertaining to the Oxygen Sensors. The Mill lamp comes on and Sets a DTC in the PCM After Two Consecutive Failures In your case of O2 heater failure usually requires replacement of the O2 Sensor, barring any wiring problems to the sensor.
