Profile_thumbnail Hello, my question is, how much is avg. cost of replacing rear differential including the rear housing plate/cover. I heard a loud pop then found a three inch gash in rear pumpkin pushing outwards. Obviously, the truck don't go. What do I need to know about replacement and or possible entire rear end replacement or transmission related issues to this?

I suggest you shop around in your local area for estimates. Your local Dodge dealer is probably the best source for you to have an estimate performed. I may cost more, but you will have OEM parts and a warranty.
