Both rear lights blink when turn signal is used

What is your question?

I replaced both rear tail light/blinker bulbs. Now when I use my turn signal they both blink. The front ones work as they should.

What makes this problem better or worse?

Nothing makes it worse

How long has your 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 had this problem?

Just recently they started. I thought it was a bulb issue so I replaced them
