What is your question?
My Ford Truck man father informed me that he believes the head is warped. When it comes to all things Dodge, he won't even look at it, unless it is to get the cattle to market and his FORD is down. He states the engine overheaded. Other than that, I have no idea of symptoms, due to fact the truck is in Blanco County, TX and I'm in Harris County, TX...going home this weekend to look at the truck.

if the head gasket is blown... you will either "A", have water in the oil. "B" Water in the exaust. or "C" Hydro-lock, meaning the cylinder is filled with water, with the valves close, and so it will not crank over. Or "D" water sprays all over, outside the engine. To fix hydro-lock..... remove spark plugs... start engine.... if it turns over....your gasket is blown. To know if water is in oil..... look at the threads of the 710 cap, if it has a white foamy build-up.... you have gasket issues. Exaust.... drill a small hole in muffler at bottom, near front side..... if water drains like mad... nothing to do with the gasket :) BUT!!!!! if it smells like anti-freeze...well your looking at one heck of a lesson on engines. P.S. as far as the water thing goes... if its alot of water draining, always from your exaust.... you may need a new cat converter....its very clogged. to solve clogging cats, change air filter MORE often. every 6 months.
