What could cause loss of electrical power to engine and gauges simultaneously?

Whenever the engine stalls the gauges stop working!! ... Most likely a ignition system problem like a crank sensor failing... Needs to be SCANNED to help locate your trouble... Scanner not a code reader... Not worried about codes... Want to view live data on scanner!!

I need help please I had same problem how did you fix. I had crank shaft senser and computer replaced no help waste of money please help my email is hawaiifarm82@gmail thank you for any help
