What would cause the vehicle to jerk, and not go past 40 mph with pedal to floor? Driving between 5 and 39 mph, vehicle drives fine transmission shifts correctly. I tried cleaning the throttle body, changed evap, still the same! engine is not throwing any trouble codes either

There too many possibilities to list.. The most common problem is fuel pressure issues due to a bad pump, but it could also be ignition breakdown, stopped exhaust system or a bad transmission.. Does the car sound asthmatic, like it can't breathe? If so it may be the catalytic converter stopped up. Some basic testing will be necessary to figure out what is going on with this one. I have the same issue. I have been told my rings are bad, that I was losing oil pressure. I just put a quarter of Lucus oil in it. Haven't driven it far enough to see if it helped. I also had the fuel pump replaced recently. Had a compression test done, cylinders 1&2 showed 120, 3&4 showed 60. Added oil to 3&4 and that raised the compression a little
