What is your question?
Even though lights, horn and all that worked with old battery,, nothing would happen when you pushed the start button. Even replace the battery in the key fob in case that was it but it wasn't. The battery was fine before the belt slipped off what else could be wrong with it I mean the alternator and starter were working fine we never had any problems starting it before so I don't understand why one of them would just go out all of a sudden. We had recently replaced the front struts on the car but didn't realize we had to replace the mounts and the rubber piece on top of the struts and so the car was still making a noise when you drive it from the not having the mounts replaced.
What makes this problem better or worse?
There is no better or worse the car won't start it won't even turn over but the battery is good
How long has your 2014 Dodge Journey had this problem?
Since the belt come off from around the alternator starter all that and the tension pulley was replaced

Hello, are you certain that the engine turns manually with a breaker bar on the crankshaft? Are you sure all pulleys are turning besides the one you replaced? If any pulleys are seized for some reason, your engine may not want to crank due to the load. Have you tested your starter motor for excessive amperage draw?
