Why are my dash board lights staying on in my 2012 Journey?

My battery has a parasitic drain and I believe it is caused because the dash board lights seem to stay on randomly even when all switches are off (i.e. ignition and dimmer setting) and doors are locked. When functioning properly, they shut off within 15 sec.

How long has your 2012 Dodge Journey had this problem?
